Title: Kawasaki Part numbers for Invader/LTD tracks HELP
Post by: Tory944 on October 03, 2014, 12:15:30 PM
Hey guys,  looking for some part numbers...   I don't have the books.  I have a guy who wants a track and wanna make sure I don't give him the wrong one!  The part number in question is  39125-3512...  pretty sure Invader, but I've got a 78' w/ 3513....   I think the LTD's are 3515A and Interceptor 3517.  Maybe just a different yr/part number? 3512 vs. 3513?  Thanks for any help!      Tory

Original part # for both 340 and 440 '79 Invaders and the '79 Intruder looks like 39125-3502 ( the parts diagram also shows the replacement steel bars available at that time...before the track recall). 1980 Invader/Intruder Parts Manual shows 39125-3512 for the track, which looks to be the one your asking about. Hope this helps.

Found the '81 Invader/Intruder parts manual, too. The 81 Intruder also used track 39125-3512, but the 81 Invader shows 39125-3513. That's all the parts manuals I have. Don't have any for LTD's or Interceptor.

Keep in mind that if they are going from the old style (steel bars) to the newer style they need to change the rear wheels. The new ones were just a bit larger. Using the old ones , you won't be able to tighten up the track enough.
