Title: Vintage sled parts prices going up??
Post by: Interceptor398 on March 15, 2018, 07:28:33 PM
This one makes me wonder where old odd parts prices are going????

The cylinders are a "bit" spendy but the rings seem over the top???  For a 550 to be fair some will go there but for a 340??

both hard to find but too spendy imo.....but....I had a 440 r/s kohler less ignition at Waconia and got 450 from swappers on Friday...so people pay for the hard to find stuff

That's crazy, I can pick up two NOS ones for that price. You just have to be patient and look around for the right price and you will find. Some of these people are just price gouging.

Asking $100 is one thing.  Getting $100 is another.

As far as the cylinder goes, isn't that about the same price as having a cylinder re-plated?
