Is LTD radiator single row or 2 row?
« on: February 17, 2013, 10:53:03 AM »
Just curious... is the radiator on an '82 LTD a 1 row design or a 2 row design? If it's 1 row, are there any aftermarket 2 row radiators that can be fitted for better cooling? Thanks,

Mike

The radiators are about the width of a three core.  If you are looking to get a better cooling efficiency, put a heat exchanger in the front tunnel like Polaris does.  Trying to out think Kawasaki engineers?

Do you have your windshield on?  Are you put-puting around and expect the coolers to get the job done?

I have never had any issue with heat on my LTD... I always figured kawasaki kinda of designed all these sleds to almost be over cooled... I know when I had the old thermostat they take forever to warm up I assumed because of both the rad and heat exchanger dissapating all kinds of heat!
