Mikuni bog
« on: January 31, 2014, 03:43:57 PM »
Has anyone been successful putting Mikuni VM roundslide 38mm carbs on the Interceptor? That is, have you been able to tune out the low to mid bog? If you have would you please share the components you used to get there?

I've got this one ready for ovals racing except for this one minor detail of getting past the brief low end bog. Not conducive to a great hole shot.

 8) no mid rande bog or flat spots, when fully warm if i let it idle for 10 sec or so and i snapped the flipper hard to wot she'd bog and actually  try to die.... but not as hard and pow! track spinning rippin little bitch! points to consider... drive belt is ok but hardly new...i have not played with air screw or pilot jet yet....the intake bells on these are cut and beveled right to the air passages at the bottom of the venturi...dam its fun when the skis carry till you let off ;D
