Vintage races this weekend
« on: April 13, 2014, 11:13:36 PM »
A Rupp Nitro took 1st place in the small oval and big oval. The Intruder ran like crap. I had 3 secondaries and 1 Primary that I had E Ramps and F ramps. I could not get it to go above 35MPH trying all the combination of clutching. I did grab a 1 of the twin pipes from my 800 ski Doo and made it fit my Intruder. Do you think that pipe is what made it run so bad? I will check the compression tomorrow. I would really like to make this sled competitive with at least the enticers and exciters that kicked my but to.

Agree...  the Intruders are quick sleds.  Don't give up on her...  I know a guy who races an Intruder on ovals in N.Y. and he consistently places in the top three out of a dozen sleds.
