Starter Motor rebuild
« on: December 08, 2012, 09:24:25 AM »
While I await the confirmation of my supporting membership, wondering if anybody can tell me if the starter motor can be safefly removed from my 1980 Intruder without removing the engine? Access is limited, but I think I can get all the bolts out. It just clicks, and the drive will not engage. I've got 12volts going to it though. Hopefully emery cloth to the drive will fix it up.
