Since this subject seems to come up every now and then I'd thought I'd make a post to clarify it. The engines with the center seal problems were the
71 - 73 (except 73 El Tigre) Kawasaki T1 engines which were replaced with the 2 piece center seal with O rings. 73 El Tigre and all 74 and up engines had the new type seal with O rings. If you do need new O rings use Arctic Cat part # 3001-437. Trucker or Bob, might be a good idea to pin this for future reference.
