78' Intriguer

Hey guys,  Going to pick up a 78' Intriguer in a few days.  This is definetely an "odd duck"...  part Drifter and part Astro.  It was never very appealing to me with the headlight mounted on the top of the hood like the Astro and SST's.   I bought this sled because I just don't see many of these Intriguers out there!  The few I've seen have been pretty rough.  This one has the original seat cover, windshield, etc and runs great!  Gotta drive 9 hrs round trip to get it.

        I can't be the only one who thinks these 78' Intriguers are kinda rare...   what do you guys think?         Tory

One year sled but there are a few out there, just not many nice ones.

I've always liked the intrigues.
I believe its a 440 right? I like the head light , and the gauges are above the gas tank which was weird lol. But I was one o the ones that started them all.
For every 10 invaders , intruders and drifters  I only see  1-2 intriguers.
I passed on one last year for 200$ it was in good shape but was locked up. 
Looking back I should of gotten it.  And most of other ones I've seen around here are trashed or to far gone.  Good luck.  Still hate me?? Lol.   -mike

Naaaaa.....    hate is a pretty strong word.  Just jealous

I'll post some pics of the Intriguer soon!  Anybody know if the engine is the same as the Drifter Fan 440?  Thanks!

If I remember correctly it has the drifter type motor in it. 
But I could be wrong was a year ago tho.
I think all of the kaws made where great looking and riding in there own ways.
