no lights anywhere
« on: March 03, 2015, 02:19:31 PM »
What would cause the sled to not have any lights , key functiuon or kill switch function.  Obviously I connected the main harness.  Could it be the voltage regulator or something?  Sled runs great, during the day.  I am working the bugs out one issue at a time.

Are the bulbs blown? A bad Voltage regulator could cause that. Check with a volt meter to see how many volts it's putting out. Could have a bad lighting coil too. Check your wiring and connections. It could be a bad ignition switch as well if it's not making contact in the lights on position.

Check to make sure that the wiring harness connector at the engine is connected properly and all the wires are seated fully and making contact.
