 INVADER 340 CENTER CRANK SEAL?

Number one item on these sleds is to replace crank seals, No 2 is to make sure cross shafts in the track suspension are greased and not bent.  Plenty of other small things go with these but those two are the major ones.

If you can get a shop manual, the front section has a lot of information on how everything works and lots of theory of operation stuff.  Great way to understand how and why these sleds are so quick and fun to drive.

Get everything back to stock condition and don't worry too much about trying to tweak it for modified performance. Kawasaki did a great job of making them fast and reliable.

Great advise from Jimvw57

You make it sound like I have fixed a few of these sleds or something...

Maybe that I spent a year trying to make a sled run that I got that just had "new seals just put in" only to find after a year of messing with it that the seals were torn because the shaft wasn't lubricated when they installed the new seals...
I kept thinking that they just put seals in so they should be OK...

More like too dumb to pull the plug and walk away...I will admit that I learned an awful lot about how these sleds work after having just about everything apart multiple times before going back to basics. Thus the motto :  Crank Seals, Crank Seals Crank Seals...

Plus I would have scrapped it long ago without the guidance and support of others on here. The amount of collective knowledge on here is staggering!!
