The hood is painted. It's not the one that came with that sled, but is the "factory mistake" hood that I posted in another section of this site. They cut the top vents the wrong direction. The color is darker than the 1st hood on Project #1. We used Vintage Paint again, but this one is darker than the 1st hood on Project #1. The darker actually matches the original color that was under the decals.
