4/6 has 2 timing marks

Hey guys im in the process of putting my 4/6  back together and found 2 marks on the flywheel. One is at .073 degrees btdc and the other is .108 degrees btdc. Just wondering which I should set it to in order to get the motor started up and timing tweaked. I pulled the flywheel off and it was set at the .108 mark, but why would there be the .073 mark too.  Interesting....I don't have any LTD 4/6 manuals to help give any insight, but it is curious my '79 Invader manual specifies exactly the 0.108 BTDC you found.
 Someone on here will know if the 4/6 shared the same CDI as the regular Invaders. I think they are the same, but the '81-'82 LTD's were different.
 The Invader shop manual decribes making a homemade pointer that points at the drive clutch, then finding .108" BTDC on the mag cylinder and marking the clutch.
 Those should align using an automotive strobe timing light while running the engine at 6500 RPM.
 I can only guess what the .073 mark is for....perhaps a way to set the timing statically.....or maybe with the engine at idle speed....or maybe another CDI box was tried sometime in the past??

 I was just looking through a Drifter shop manual to look at the clutch info to help with "Vikings" clutch question, and the spec page caught my eye.
 The '80 340 Drifter had a timing spec of 0.108.
 The 440 Drifters spec was .073!
 Your flywheel was somehow marked with both??
 Maybe they all are...I have never looked.
 I have just lined the mark on the stator plate up with the mark on the crankcase when I have had the engine apart.
 But, it sounds like .108 is probably right for your 4/6.

Okay, I was wondering on that. I would guess the 4/6 timing would be the same as a 440. I will line it up with the .108 mark and see what happens.
