Looking for 1982 ltd rear suspension parts,brackets ect.

Hi, i had a friend give me an 82 ltd 440 thats been sitting for years. When i picked up the rear of the sled
And dropped it back down the track went all the way up into the tunnel, now its stuck lol.
Some of the skid it toast, so im looking for a complete skid or parts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have one or two skids from an 80' LTD, they are slightly different but are still the Vari-Ride suspension.

Welcome to the site!!  I think the 81 and 82 LTD's had the same suspensions but I have not compared parts lists.  These would be the mono head LTD's.  Since you know already the skid needs to come out, just pull it out and maybe you can get by with a few parts.  Shipping on an entire skid would not be cheap??

I believe the 81-82 LTDS are the same.  I think the 81 Invader is the same as well.  But be careful of the Intruders, they had the old style skid with VariRide decals.

I don't remember  the exact measurements, but I believe that the mounting holes for the 80/81/82 LTD skid are about 3" further apart (front to back) than the mounting holes for the stock Invader/Intruder skid.

I was kicking around the machine shed this  afternoon and took a look at the 81 Invader and was able to confirm that it does have the LTD style vari-ride suspension.
