Temp sensor

Does anyone have any tricks for getting he temp sensor out of the the thermostat housing without wrecking it?

I've never had issues getting them out.  Maybe try a brake line wrench to help avoid stripping the nut?

First I try PB Blaster and a tubing wrench.  If moderate pressure on the wrench does not work I go to plan B. 

Plan B:  If the temp gauge does not work, then i break the sensor bulb.  If the temp gauge is working, I use a cutting wheel on a dremel to cut the housing off of the temp probe.  If you have to cut the housing I can send you another one.
