Search bar gone?

Is it only on my end that the search bar for the forum has disappeared? Quite usefull tool if you ask me, but maybe there is a logical reason.

I don't recall seeing a search bar, but I still have the search icon (magnifying glass) on the left side of the screen...

When I log out it appears, but as soon as I log in it's gone again

Thanks!  It's deer season here so I will be away from the internet for a few days.

If you go to the bottom of the forum it shows who is online.  From the number of people using the site and what they are looking at, the search bar must still be working for most??

So I changed the forum theme and now I have the search bar back, I can get used to the new theme if thats necessary (:
