LTD Skies vs Interceptor Skies

  Ski "loops" both have the slight "bend"  in the middle, but the LTD's have reinforcement in the skis themselves (you can see the webbing from the top) whereas the Ceptor skis do not have this reinforcement.  The LTD's were a bit heavier up front, so a stronger ski was used.

I found a pair of ltd skis in a salvage yard tonight.  Pictured below is one of them.  I noticed theres a drifter sitting at this place that has skis with the round loops that look identical to these ltd skies but don't have the reinforcement sections in the center. Did later year drifters come with those?

i wouid say that the 81 drifter ski is the same as an interceptor....that was also the last service replacement for the invaders.....non 81, they use the ltd ski that takes a WIDER spring.
