My OEM 4/6 windshield has a black stripe along the bottom, and iirc it also has the part number stamped in it along the bottom.

Do believe there is a black decal on mine. I have an all original with only 380 miles...love this sled. Now that you say about the decal I will have to take a closer look. if windshields are this rare for these models, I may have watch how it's ridden, and baby it. It is hard, sometimes we gotta just open er' up for what it's worth!! lol

Done about 8 years ago.  I'm still looking for an oem replica windshield.  Image did the motor for me, complete crank up.....I recall spending $2k ish just on the engine.    I would also like to find new seat foam as I'm sinking too deep into it when I ride it.

Very nice 4/6 friend. I love mine, its an all original 1980 with a mere 375 miles. it's a blast to run. also have a super clean 82 JD 440  Liquifire  and a 85 Yamy Phazer. seems tho, when it's time to play in the snow, I always climb aboard the Kawy. Love the oldies! Enjoy the ride Junky!
