Cranks for Invader - Invader 4/6 Ltd - LTD
« on: December 12, 2013, 12:30:44 PM »
I am a 1981 LTD rider and now the proud owner of a 1980 Invader 4/6 Ltd ( which is not mobile at the moment ). I am looking for info on the bottom ends of the subject machines, are there any of these cranks interchangeable? If so which models with which? I also have other query on the clutching throw ramps , and on the drives the helix ramp degree' . I am looking for dimension specs so we can fabricate if I can't find replacement parts. All comments and or contacts that can reply I thank you in advance. Regards wildgilly.

78-81' 340 & 440 Invader cranks are the same as the 80' 4/6 LTD
81-82' LTD cranks are the same, and 82' 550 Interceptor cranks are slightly different but will interchange without issue.

I have never had trouble finding replacement clutch parts.  Most can be found on ebay, some parts are still made by Kawasaki for some of there ATV's.  See here  http://kawasakitrax.com/kawiforum/index.php?topic=11.0

I am sure I have a good used crank for your 4/6 PM me if you're interested.  I am sure that I do not have an extra 81-82 LTD crank.
