Gas Tanks

Is the Interceptor gas tank the same as the Invaders and ltd's. Any info would be helpful.  Thinking of picking up an Interceptor, but the gas cap is not the orig. I know there is replacement one, but would rather keep it mostly orig.  Thanks,  Doug

  Doug, you can use an Invader tank.  To the best of my knowledge, the only difference is that the Interceptor has "two" fuel fittings on the backside of the tank.  Don't forget that the Interceptor had two fuel pumps originally.  If you only run one fuel pump (which I do) you can use the tank as it is.  You could always drill out the tank for a second fitting, but be careful not to get plastic shavings in the tank...  pick up line, in tank filter, etc.  You get the idea.  Hope this helps.   Tory
