I scotch bright all sheave faces and clean the faces with brake clean. New belts I clean with a bit of water and dawn dish soap. I took both clutches apart too, cleaned them and I use a dry graphite lube on move able surfaces (ramps, rollers etc.
I put a P85 on it last night and found a spring/weight combo that works pretty well at the moment. The stationary sheave is not burning up anymore but it is still noticeably warmer. No more over revving so that's a bonus.
Driveline spins freely. No binding or anything. I put a 94 Polaris indy skid and track under it as well. Yes, I spaced out the outside idlers on the driver shaft.
