Gorgeous day here in New York. So much so, that I thought it would be a good day to get another pair of sleds out of the machine shed. So we set to work on the TOC and one of the Intruders that we want to take up to the camp. Neither one wanted to do much initially. Finally just about when I was going to give up the TOC fired up. What a sled, the ride home was exhilarating - snow flying, skis in the air - what snowmobiling should be and, at least around here, so seldom is.
Then it was time for the Intruder. That turned out to be a different story. Either the primary or the secondary was not working so it was going about 10 MPH at 5000 RPM. And then, half way home in a place that has historically been called the "Rabbit Swamp" and I am sure by the name you can imagine why, she bogged and revved, bogged and revved and then finally just quit. After the long walk of shame back to the highway so my wife could pick me up, I took the TOC out to pull the Intruder home. And of course, I get it home and it drives into the garage like nothing is wrong.
But, a gorgeous day none the less.
