Interceptor jetting

I acquired an Interceptor that came from altitude? It is equipped with 36 VM mikuni carbs with the power jets. I am looking for recommendations for jetting at nearly sea level. All help will be appreciated.

Welcome to the site!! I think that carb swap has been done a few times so someone here has the answer. Have you tried to run it?

Thanks for the replys. No I have not tried to run it, as I am going thru the fuel system. I am hoping to hear from someone that has successfully used the 36's on the 550.

I would strongly recommend discarding the 36 powerjets for some 38 non powerjets. where are you in Nebraska?

There was a guy from Iowa several years ago who took stock 4/6 carbs and put them on a 550. He claimed it ran great.

This is what I have on mine, built by Bob at Image.
valve throttle 2.5
needle 6DH4
main jet #360
needle jet #165-Q0
pilot jet #40
These are non-primer carbs 36"s.
Carb marking"s MKA
Also with K&N filters & sno-chargers
