Even the higher priced ones in your 2nd link are made in China.....
I don't know.....some of the Chinese bearings don't seem too bad...I've tried a few.
Usually an ad on a site will say "OEM replacement"....yep, cheap Chinese.
I might try them in the skid wheels, but any chaincase, driveshaft, or jackshaft bearing I'm finding an NTN bearing.
I think SkiDoo, Polaris, and Cat have used a lot of NTN's as original equipment usually.
SKF is another excellent brand. Yamaha has usually used excellent Koyo bearings.
SKF's site shows different 6205 bearings with one of them rated to 18,000 RPM!
We certainly don't need one that good...
I can usually find one of those 3 manufacturer's common bearing, whether it is a 6205, or a different size, somewhere on the web for a pretty decent price.
Some Auto stores around me have some NTN brand bearings in stock..although they usually have cheaper ones, too.
I really don't know.....if you replace the bearings in all the wheels in a skid frame, that can add up to quite a few bucks for "brand name" bearings.
