First Time for Everything
« on: January 24, 2015, 02:08:19 PM »
This afternoon I was rattling around in the machine shed looking for a fuel tank for our next special project.  After looking through a group and being pleasantly surprised that we have a few good ones I came across the one in the attached photo.  In the process of taking it out I heard an abnormally loud clunk inside the tank.  Investigating I found a pair of green handle needlenose pliers - quite well oxidized.  This made me think of a thread that I read a few days ago about the best way to replace the fuel pick-up hose.  Obviously this was not the best way.  So I you lost a pair of needlenose pliers in a fuel tank a few years ago let me know so I can send them back to their rightful owner.

Work a little of that pb blaster in there, those pliers will be good as new.  Nice place to find your dad's expensive pliers.
