After 2 years, I think it's done. 1980 Intruder 440 I bought out of a wrecking yard before it went to the scrap yard. I had it out today for it's first real run, covered about 20 miles of lake and trails and it ran great. It has a Yammi SRV skid, Polaris carbides, and a 16" BRP track off an old Mach 1.

When I got it, it had Drifter jugs with the single carb set up. I've done the bottom end, and replaced the jugs with the correct ones and the dual carb setup.  It was running close to 70 mph today on the lake :)

Now, can anyone tell me if an Invader windshield will fit an Intruder??

Yes the invader windshield works on the intruder.   I have an invader oem windshield on my 81 intruder fits and looks good!! -mike

Thanks for the windshield info. That's the last piece that it needs :) I'll see if I can order one locally.
