Clutch springs
« on: February 05, 2016, 06:17:37 PM »
I am looking for a heavier engagement primary spring for my 79 invader 440. I have the stock yellow one in right now but would like something that kicks in about 4500-5000. I had heard people using the black comet spring so I ordered one but it is too small. Anyone have a part number.

I think I have a good used black Kawi spring if you're interested.

No I must have misread some info and assumed that a black comet spring would fit on my kawi clutch but it does not. I just thought maybe some one make a spring that will fit the kawi clutch or have tried springs off other models that will work. I have thought about shimming the yellow spring I have in now and see what happens.

I'll take that black spring if you still have it.
