seems early production was locking collar before tightening flange bolts.....

Finally made it back to the invader holidays and being sick for 2 weeks with the flu.That sucked.
This year is the rebuild of the intruder engine so I swapped the jackshaft out of it to get the vader mobile and test the new rebuild glad I did found that the vader was missing shims and spacers on the secondary. so that part is done for now popped right in.

Researching the jackshaft part numbers again I see the 78 ends in 02 the 79-80 ends in 03 anyone know what the differences are between these years? Length..dia.. bearing placement..ect I ask because a guy has a 79 invader that he will let me have the jackshaft off can I make it work on my 78?
