Radiator blower fan
« on: January 17, 2018, 10:32:38 AM »
I hooked up a dryer vent Hose to the exhaust of my invader so i could run it in the garage when it was super cold outside. Worked well but the engine temps would go up quickly as you all know. So i had rigged up a blower for the radiator. Used a boat bilge blower mounted it in one of the louvers in front of the rad. Put in a switch and with it on I can keep the temps down and run it as long as I needed. When not needed it pops right out. Works really well. I did modify the fan housing and blades on the blower to fit right in the whole thing takes a couple of hours to do . Just wanted to share the idea if anyone ever had the same problem. Plan to test on the trails also if needed.
