Doug, when we actually get snow, New York has some amazing trails.  I am only just beginning to explore them.  Yes, we will have to get together for a sledding party at some point.

I live very close to the point where New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania touch.  The photo above is from Brant Lake in the Southeast Adirondacks.

Great picture and it sure looks like a nice place to ride!! 

I finally got a chance to fire up a couple sleds,  no snow and to cold ride much anyway.  My 1st trip was over to the neighbors to feed their boiler while they are gone.  It was fun to finally ride!  I siphoned out all the gas from both sleds and had maybe a teaspoon of water between them.  Then came time to add more gas from a can I keep around.  I never put the last quart directly into what I will be running. Second picture shows why I do it that way as there was about a 3rd cup of water in it.
