Did a full teardown and rebuild and when I put everything back together I hooked up all the original wiring, new headlight bulb , original tail light bulb and speedo light bulb. So the brake light worked, but the tail light, headlight, and speedo bulb weren't turning on. I found that there was power at all the connections, and so I took out the headlight and then the tail light and speedo light worked. I then put the original headlight in and the taillight and speedo light stopped working? I then proceeded to clean up some of the wiring, wrapped the hot grip wiring with electrical tape and put on new wire nuts on the spliced sections. There are 2 wires leaving both sides of the handle bars, one one each side are wire nutted together and then the other ones are wire nutted together and then a third wire from that set goes and attaches to the shroud. After I taped everything and re wire nutted the sections the tail light and speedo light stopped working. I undid both wire nuts and switched the wires around thinking I may have switched two but I've had no luck. Man I hate chasing electrical problems and I really hope someone out there can help me. I really just want the tail light to work because I have to have a tail light and break light to race in this Tired Iron snowmobile race that's in a week. Please Help!
