I have a 1979 Invader 440 which I am rebuilding. mswyka has been incredibly helpful. I now need to ask the community a question.
My machine had the throttle cable snap in the carb and caused piston damage and a fire. The engine is coming together but fire destroyed some of the wires and the cables. The wires have been sourced but I need help finding the throttle and choke cable. Does anyone know where I can find the right cables. Dennis Kirk has some but they say "they should work" and I'd prefer, "yes, they work". I'm also looking for a full pull cord/starter/recoil if anyone has a used one that works. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
