« on: March 05, 2013, 03:35:13 PM »
Is there anyone who has opened the muffler in an Intruder? (-79)
My started rattling inside so I thought to open it but do not know where I will be cutting  :-\

the cone could have come loose inside. I would carefully cut it open at the seems and thenweld it back together.

On my muffler there are two original welds, one at the back at the end and the other two inches ahead. Where do I cut???

take you best guess and give it a shot. I have not done it myself but I would basically try to cut the top off in a way that it could be welded back on.
