One thing you should look for is alinement take a straight edge from gear to gear if the chain binds then your not aligned correctly. Most gears have a offset on them make sure you have them in correctly also some chains are not the same

Is this the part you used- Western Power Sports part number 54-3002? It's on page 920 of the 2014 Snowmobile catalog which you can see online. I'm going to put one on mine this summer. I also use a 13 wide top sprocket and 13 wide chain for the extra strength. You have to shim the lower sprocket to align it or center the chain on the lower sprocket.
