Crank Gear removal on 1980 340 Invader

Here is what I need to know
Does the gear on the crank for the oil/water pump need to be heated to remove and reinstall like a flywheel ring gear
I am  replacing the seals on the crank Thanks for the help

  you should be able to remove the gear with a bearing separater or a puller. to reinstall I set the gear on alamp with a  100 watt light bulb for a few minutes then it will drop on.

Just a quick clarification, the gear comes off easily when the crank is out.  It is a little trickier if you are not planning to remove the crank from the crankcase.
Intruders:  1978, 1979, 1981 Custom (Pink)
Invaders:   1980 440

Thanks guys the gear pulled easy I just did not want to break anything important
