It was a good time!  Went to the swap when the rain was going on and some stuff was covered.  I found out later there was some good Kawi stuff under all that plastic from the guy that cleaned them out.  It was just like going to a swap the Trucker, you better get there first or he had it. All part of the fun!!

Getting ready for this years ( 2017 ) event.  Wendy and I are staying at Lynn Ann's Campground Saturday and Sunday nights.  We are staying for the Monday flee market.

Found a couple Kawi things to bring home.  A Wiseco 440 piston, a 550 head in nice shape and a large box of Kawasaki manuals and other interesting Kawasaki information.  I need to go thru it but many of then I did not have.  Passed up 5 boxes of Kawasaki parts as most of them I have already.  Wonder who got them??  Hmmm,  Greg??  Bumped into many people I know and had another good time.  The Monday flee market was a "little" smaller than last year I think mostly due to the threat of rain but we were out of there before 10:00am and it was just fine.  We did hit some spots of rain on the way home though.

Nice advertisement. I didn't realize the lake was that close. And that big. Does look like a nice place to stay.

Well, the St Germain sled swap this year I managed to save most of my money for the Monday flea market, not much Kawasaki stuff this year. Bumped into many of the characters I call friends.  Thanks Zuk for bringing the beaver island coffee mug, hope you enjoy the dried morels!! Wendy and I will come back to the island some year. Had another old yellow chain saw follow me home and some antique shotgun reloading supplies both of witch I use so it was a good weekend!  St Germain puts on a real nice memorial service in the park but it's a bit hard to know when it is happening.

I noticed your post from last year and mentioning Zuk.
I absolutely loved his posts on the  vintagesleds.com site with his many great pictures of life on Beaver Island.
Sadly, he passed away this past winter. It's cool that you knew Zuk....he always struck me as one heck of an individual from his many posts.
RIP Zuk.

I miss Zuk.  This at St Germain in 2016.

Second pic is on Beaver Island after the service at his church. Phil, Wendy and Deer guy.  Funny thing that morning was Phil's phone going off while he and the choir were in the middle of a song.  Had a good laugh over that one.  After that we got on the ferry and started the 23 hour trip home so Wendy could be at school Monday morning.  Our visit to Beaver Island was a good one.

It was another fun trip but really missed not see Zuk there plus some of the still with us that could not get there.  Found a couple treasures but there was very little Kawasaki stuff.  Shawn did snag a 550 head moments before I made it to that swap spot and it sounded like a fair price + it came with a re sleeved jug.

Show was a little sparse with just 2 Kawasaki's in it. The Shark clone under the roof and this nice Drifter F/A sitting on the grass, SN SC340A1  001566.  Still a fun place to visit.
