Thrush Washer Question
« on: April 12, 2019, 12:57:59 PM »
For the life of me I cannot find an expanded view of the 1980 340 crankshaft. Is my index finger pointing to the thrush washer? Are there only 2 or are all 4 thrush washers (2nd pic)? I am putting the C shim between it and the PTO crank bearing. Being safe and I'm second guessing. Thanks

I just checked one of our cranks and see that the shim is between the mag side center bearing and the thrust washer.  I will try to post a photo.

Thanks Mark, I would have screwed that up and put it on the other side of the bearing. The pics in the manuals are not easy to follow.
