A batch of suspension shafts going to a good home soon.  I put grease groves in the pivot shafts.

I am interested in how the new owner feels about the grease groves.

Shafts received!  The grease grooves look great!!!  Thanks!

You can get a Drifter in a van without taking off the ski's.

I showed up after driving over 2 hours to look at the sled and the guy was less than impressed that I did not bring a trailer.  I did bring a ramp and just drove it in to the van.  The sled fit just fine.

That trip was not the first time I had a sled in the family van.  2013 Braapfest I had to use the van due to my truck acting up.  I had to take the skis off the 81 Invader to get it to fit.

Looks like nice work, but I am stumped as to what it is.

It is a pair of 49 inch long aluminum molds used to make polyurethane rail protectors that snap on a railing.  Mostly they make wear parts and last longer than steel.  They give me .005 tolerance on the entire form for the entire length.  The reason I have stayed open for over 35 years is I make the form tools to do these kinds of molds.  They can be very tedious to make but also fun when they are done and shipped to the production plant.
