Over torque bolt 10 on crank
« on: April 14, 2019, 04:37:55 PM »
Managed to over torque bolt 10 and bust it while putting the crank back together. Can I get away with this? Everything else worked great. Would love to not have to split this again.

I would give the "easy out route" a try before I pulled it apart.  It might be fine without that bolt??

I'm rolling the dice. If it was any other bolt I would redo.

Can you get your hands on a left hand drill bit?  I have a few that I keep around just for this kind of stuff.
